Thank you to all of the people who made this happen for me. Morning hunt with the first snow and four bucks come along. They were walking straight at me and the one in front saw me move and turned the group around walking away. They circled around and came out into a path behind me and when this one crossed through a window through the branches I took my shot and he dropped right where he stood.

I had the deer on my trail camera and I thought he was a half rack but I was hunting with my dad and he said that it had a goofy antler and to take this one of a kind buck.

Well a storm was coming in Friday night so i knew the deer would be moving that afternoon. But i had no expectations of seeing this brute. He was last seen by my dad last year. After putting in 100+ hrs in the stand this year i still didn’t see him. I was almost positive someone else shot him. After sitting in the stand for a couple hours Friday afternoon i heard some noise in the thicket in front of me. Blew my grunt call and within minutes this guy was standing in front of me broadside at 20 yds. The old 20 ga 870 did the trick. He’s the biggest buck I’ve shot to this day.

While climbing up my tree using my climber I could see deer running in my direction. I quickly started pulling up my 450 Bushmaster and was able to get a shot on this split main beam 7 pt. First deer with my 450BM and it did a great job.

Shot the biggest buck of my life this morning. He came in with another buck following a doe and I dropped him at 12 yards with my 20 gauge.
