He walked passed me on the edge of the field at about 50 yds. Hit a quick grunt followed by one more grunt and he turned around and came on a string to me. The rest was history!! 8 yard shot

DAVID COOPER

First hunt of my deer camp vacation. He showed up at 45 yards in the brush at first light. Came into my food plot at about 32 yards and started to leave, I grunted over my shoulder and he came towards me. I made the shot at about 12 yards from my home made box blind.

THE 2018 season had been a quite sorry one ( no deer sightings ) until NOV.5 . That morning it all broke loose ! At 7:10 am the 8 point snuck in sniffing the doe in heat I had put out . I shot him at about 18/20 yards …re-cocked my crossbow and sat down to settle a little . Almost immediately after the 8 pt. ran up a ridge …Another big buck came out at the far edge of a bean field about 200 yards off and headed my way ! He slowly walked toward me and cut in towards my ladder ..unfortunately he turned at about 40/45 yards and walked back away from my stand .I called my son Dennis to tell him about the action going on about 8:20 am. While I was talking to him a 3 point buck walked in from in front and above me …I hung up the phone ,waited for him to clear some branches and shot him at about 14 yards ! WOW …what a way for things to perk up !! I still have a doe-permit but have called it quits for this season ! First time I was able to hunt the tulip stand .

Easton Momany

My son Easton who is now 7 years old, has been hunting with me for the past 2 years. This year was to be his first year to hunt from a treestand and to actually shoot. Oct 28th was our first time out, this doe came in at 6:25pm and he placed a perfect shot on her with a Ravin Crossbow @ 20yds. She ran only ran 40 yds.
