Went out and got to stand at 3:20pm, about ten minutes later I saw him cruising through a grass field about 1/8 mile away. Waited and watched as he headed parallel. Bleated a couple times and he shifted and came in to about 30yds. All she wrote. Loaded and took to processors and went about life. Had the head ready for European mount when I got free time. Got everything prepped and began working on the mount. When removing the lower jaw I grabbed it by the snout area and felt something sharp where it’s not usually – I discovered that the buck had canine!

It all started during bow season with ups a downs with this guy and I just couldn’t put it together, well that all changed Thanksgiving morning when I caught him out in a 200 acre cut corn field with a doe, I made a plan and stuck to it with nothing between myself and them besides cut corn stalks, they bedded a few times out by a jam pile so that’s when I was making ground on them on my hands and knees closing into 300 yards they get up and move again to the north now at 400 yards, so I get on the phone a call my uncle to head them off he gets in position shots fired I’m on my feet and running now closing my distance on him to 250 and my uncle is out of shells yelling it out loud as the buck stands 100 yards from him I draw down on him and run a round through him at 250 he takes off running broadside I hit him again at 260 and he goes down trying to get up I put another one through his chest, after that excitement it got even better when we got to him with hand shakes hugs and pictures

My identical twin brother and I were sitting in my hunting cabin and there was no movement. My brother decided to hit his doe can, within 5 minutes this guy came in. I shot and he only ran maybe 20 yds and dropped. I used my .450 Bushmaster.
