This was a surprise buck we did not have on camera. He came into my brassica food plot to check on some does, 15 yard shot and I couldn’t be happier

This is a buck we have watched all summer and I finally got my chance the 2nd day of rifle. He had one bullet hole in his leg from another hunter, and a Broadhead in his neck!

I got out to my stand late around 7:55am he came out not more than 5 mins later he had come out about 100 yards away. Made a really low shot, backed out and waited until 11 to go check it out tracked him 400 yards until we found were he had payed down but no deer or blood trail leaving the bed. So we backed out got our dog who is untrained blue heeler/catahoula to see if she could help, she picked up a trail quick and lead us back another 300 yards right to the deer! And I put the finishing touches on him and couldn’t be more relieved!

At about 10AM I seen a doe running way out in the back of a thicket, So I waited and sure enough I seen him coming behind her fast. So I grabbed my gun and they both were coming right for me, the doe came all the way to about 8 yards from me, and about 20 ft down obviously cause I was sitting in my lone wolf climber. So she was getting kinda nervous looking and he was about 20-25 yards from me with his head behind a tree, so she looked away and he was still behind the tree with his shoulder out in the open. So I put it on him and squeezed the trigger and he hit the ground hard right in his tracks. So I put another one in him just to make sure he wasn’t gunna try an get away from me. It was an awesome experience and couldn’t be more happy with the state land dandy.

I got in early and set up right next to a known bedding area of a buck I’ve been after all season. Around 9am I stood up to look around, and saw this stud chasing a doe up on the field edge. She led him right down into the woods, and I had to yell at him twice to stop him. Fired 80 yards through the woods across a ravine and watched him go down.
