Walked right under me at 8 yards. Let his walk broadside at 12 yards and made the shot. Ran about 70 yards before pileing up. Nicknamed Crosby after Mason Crosby the Green Bay Packers kicker because of his kicker time on the right side.

Well earlier this summer I got a picture of a beautiful 6 point, told myself I’d love to shoot that buck given the opportunity. A few months have went by and he never turned back up on camera. Tonight I sat on a nice scrape line and passed up a basket 6, about 5 minutes later he showed up and came straight to the scrape that’s 15 yards under me. I had a tough angle to shoot so I leaned forward a bit and got busted. Right as he was going to dart I let it fly shooting through some white pine branches. I knew I missed, arrow laid 15 yards in front of me with the illumi-nock lit up.. I kicked myself for taking a stupid shot, recocked my bow and sat until dark. To my surprise, what I thought was a miss was a through and through shot! Super excited to be tagged out this early with two nice bucks.
