I passed on 2 small buck opening morning a decent 4 point and a spike. They just weren’t big enough for me. That night I ran over to ask my grandpa if he would take me out hunting. We went to his stand got in the stand around 6:30 got all settled. Around 7:35 my grandpa spotted him coming him. Hurried up and got the gun out and set. He was on a mission his neck was huge and he wasn’t stopping. My grandpa gave out a good loud grunt he stopped and I let him have it. He ran around 50ft and he dropped out of sight. We thought he was a 8 point but upon inspection he was a dandy 7 point I couldn’t be happier for my First buck. Thanks to my grandpa for taking me out.
