He came in downwind. Walked past me at 10 ft and I waited until he was quartering away. Solid pass through shot. Waited 45 min and climbed down and inspected my arrow. Started tracking him and was suddenly surrounded by deer. Bucks grunting. Does blowing. Absolutely crazy. Started to lose blood and and heard a buck bust away, antlers clanking against trees and suspected I busted him in his death bed. So I backed out and went back first thing in the morning. Found him 20 yds from where I stopped the previous night. Or what was left of him… The devils were out on devil’s night…. Such a shame.
