First morning of our trip. First time hunting the area but knew it was a good spot. Decided to stay on the ground and watch a small watering hole 100 yards ahead. Sat inside a brush pile. 7:40 heard a stick break to his left. The buck walked to about 15 yards and had him pegged. He somehow managed to draw on him and he get the shot off as it was loading up to run. Over 25 years of public land hunting experience paid off on this one.
