Watched him come thru the woods, walked out onto the pipeline and he proceeded to touch up his scrapes and touched onto a few licking branches above the scrapes. Came closer and turned at 37 yards and let the shot go. Decent hit, waited 1/2 hour or so when the wife and I got down to start tracking. Had good blood till we didn’t no more. Backed out, made a call to Bruce’s Game Recovery for a tracking dog. Willa started on the trail and 10 minutes later we had found the trophy buck I’d always pictured walking in for 40 years.
