This is a special one for me – First buck, fifth year hunting, first year scouting, prepping, and hunting completely solo. Saw him throughout bow season but never came close enough. Opening day he was running across a field at 07:07 shortly after first light, stopped him at the tree line about 80 yards away. Shot my shot and found him shortly after.
