I had just put my gun out the of the blind window to make sure I had clearance, when my french toast (fiance) said do you see him? I said no, see what? She said the buck to your right. I was sitting on the right side of the blind and he was in my blind spot. Eventually he stepped to where I could see him and after stopping him twice, finally got the shot off. No blood or hair and feeling discouraged, we walked to where we last saw him and he was there, dead. My first buck, my first opening day deer. Been hunting a long time and I’m glad that I can finally cross a buck off.
