After 3 and 1/2 days at camp in Trout Creek seeing very few deer I decided to return home and try hunting my blind there. I got to the blind around 3 p.m. I freshened up a mock scrape I made about 10 days prior with some tink’s 69 and some deer dander on the licking branch I climbed in the blind around 3:15. I was on my phone and looked up and this buck was 45 yards away coming at me. I picked up my gun and he looked at me. I waited until he put his head down and shot him right between the shoulder blades and he went down.
