My morning hunt was just about over and I decided to still hunt my way out of the woods. 45 minutes into my still hunt this buck snorted at me at about 300 yards. He took off running up a large hill and was closing the distance. He gave me an opportunity at the 150 yard mark three shots later my henry 308 Lone Ranger did the job. He expired within 20 yards. This is the first deer we have taken at our deer camp in four years and we thankful.
