After striking out during rifle season, I was a little disheartened when after sitting out 20 minutes with my wife, she had a nice buck walk out for her. She took him back up to the house and I stayed out, and I’m glad I did! Right around 5pm this buck walked out and I finally was able to break my curse of 4 years of does and heartbreak. He’s no record-breaker but I’m super proud of my first buck.
