Moving through a 3yr old clear cut I came across fresh tracks from that morning. Followed them with the wind in my face for about 100yds before I spotted a bedded deer about 80yds ahead of me. Confirmed he was a buck. Then harvested him in his bed. Most surreal hunting experience so far. And best firearm buck to date.
