Went out Hunting because it was opening day and I couldn’t miss it. Not ready at all. Didn’t prepare like normal. Didn’t even put any camo on. Sat there kicked back thinking I had another hour before any bucks would show up. Some mom and babies came in early. I watched them for a little bit. Then hear some more deer coming thinking it would be some more moms and babies. Then this beauty stepped into my vision. Biggest buck ever to walk out in front of me. My heart racing. Shaking like crazy. Trying to sit up to my shooting position without anyone seeing me move. He was behind a tree for what felt like years. Then finally he stepped forward and the stupid spike got in the way. Finally he pushed the spike off. I took my shot on a good angle to get all the goods. I lost it with excitement. Went and found blood. Tracked about 45yards and there he laid all handsome. So freaking excited. Stayed up till 11pm with a smile on my face quartering him up and put him in the fridge. Then made dinner lol
