I had trail cam photos of the deer twice over the last week, both being early morning. I rushed home from work and ran right out to my blind, probably around 630pm. I sat no longer than 5 minutes and a group of doe walked up to the woodline but didn’t come into the field. While I was watching them all of a sudden I just see the rack sticking up over the brush. I didn’t have my bow in my hand yet as I had just sat down. Picked up my bow and took a range on him, 25 yards. He was standing right up tight to the long grass though so his vitals were obstructed. I pulled back anyways thinking he would move pretty quickly. I sat there drawn back for what felt like 5 minutes, he finally took one more step and when I had a visual of his vitals I let the arrow go. Full pass through. Ran about 70 yards and laid down in the next door neighbors wood line.
