I am a second year bow hunter, first year was rough with lots of misses and equipment upgrades. I had this buck on camera for about a month now, spent countless hours in the stand waiting for him to show up during shooting light. Finally tonight just before dark he was headed to the soybean field, I grunted at him three times and he headed my direction giving me a 20 yard broadside shot and double lunged him. He went 60 yards and that was it. First ever bow kill and what a rush it was.
