Got out to the spot a little late in the morning but I was seeing deer on camera after 7am so I knew that I still had a few minutes before they were there. I was watching over my shoulder when my fiancé taps my shoulder and says big buck out front. I looked up and saw this brute running right for me. I was sitting on a log on the edge of a corn field and he ran in to 9 yards where I took the shot and managed to get a nice hit and was able to recover the buck after a easy 100 yard track. This is my biggest deer to date and my first buck since I got engaged to my fiancé so it will always have a place in my heart and on the wall.
