In the morning he showed up hitting a scrape I have a camera on while I was hunting a different property. I had a good morning seeing 3 bucks and a doe all within range but nothing I was after.
Based on the videos from early October I could see that he had a big body and he was a deer I was willing to take if the opportunity arose. Sure enough I made a switch in the afternoon and he showed up working a scrape line towards some bedding. The rest was history .
