This is my first buck with a compound bow! It has taken me 6 years to accomplish it, so I’m very proud to say I finally got it done.
I got into the stand at 4:15pm after a doctors appointment, and in a spot where there typically aren’t many bucks. I set my bag down, knocked an arrow and less than a minute later, he came cruising down a path right in front of me. I quickly grabbed my bow and he walked into my shooting lane at 20 yards. Stopped him and let it rip. Double lung shot and he piled up about 50 yards from where I shot him. What a night!
