This buck first showed up on my trail cam Halloween night while I was out trick-or-treating. Two nights later, a few does wandered in, followed by a spike. I noticed them staring intently behind me before the does bolted. That’s when I heard footsteps. I turned around, and there he was.
He looked even bigger & more impressive in person than he did on camera. Coming straight in to 20 yards, I took the shot. He didn’t make it 40 yards before going down. This buck is a dream come true. I’m still in awe that it really happened!
