Walking out today, headed for my climber, I stopped to check a camera that I had on a scape next to our water hole. About 20 yards away from that, was a brand new scrape and a big rub on a tree. Both scrapes were fresh.
Had a gut feeling I should sit over those scrapes. We put up a ladder stand this year, about 30 yards over from that water hole. Climbed up that tree around 2pm and settled in. That decision proved to be a good one!
Looked to my left about 4pm and watched this 10 come in from about 50 yards. Walked past the first scape, then he came in for a drink at the water hole, gave me the money shot, and we let her fly!!
