This big boy snuck out into the wheat field with his doe at 5:30. A few doe bleats and a couple quick grunts brought him right into 30 yards. He leapt forward and spun at the sound of the string, making the shot less than ideal. Add rain to mix, and we decided to back out for the evening. Major Deer Tracking came out the following day and made quick work of the track. My largest buck to date, and by far the biggest bodied deer I’ve taken. So thankful and blessed to be able to pursue these beautiful animals!
