The evening of 11/06 I was driving back from a work trip in Detroit with no plans of hunting. After passing several fields along the highway with bucks chasing doe mid day, I decided I would take a chance even with the very high winds. Due the conditions, I decided I would do a stalk on the 170 acres I hunted. 30 mins into glassing, this stud popped up in the far corner of the field moving quick with his nose to the ground. I took a guess at where he headed and ran to the tree line, threw up a couple climbing sticks, positioned myself, and within less than 15 seconds of getting into position, he appeared 35 yards away along the field edge, broadside… the rest is history. God is good!
