Sitting in my climber at 7:40 am saw this buck nose to the ground 100 yards to my left so I grunted 3 times and he came running in. Platform on my climber sheer ice from the snow days prior I tried to adjust for the shot and my foot slipped I pulled the shot and had to wait for nightfall to go looking thank god after a grid search and very little blood we found him 80 yards away laying on a hill. Definitely a lesson learned and just glad to find the buck.
