My bow splintered earlier in the season, so I was using my grandpas old crossbow. He passed away in March this past year. I stopped to cemetery to see him prior to my hunt. I got to my stand at 3pm and my deer came out by 3:30pm. Shot him at 15 yards and he only went 30 yards before dropping. Very special moment shooting a buck with my grandpas bow.
