My dad and I went out, it was pretty windy so we weren’t certain we were gonna see anything. It was about 5:00pm when this guy walked up from the creek flats to about 30 yards right in front of us. He started walking pretty quick and my dad grunted at him and he stopped right in his tracks. I shot at him and it was a little back so he ran off. We started climbing out of the blind and we saw him about 50 yards away just standing there swaying back and forth. He eventually started getting closer to him and he ran off. By this time it was dark out and we were tracking his blood trail about 70 more yards where he was rolling in the brush. I then shined a light at him and shot him again. Definitely one of the best hunts I’ve ever been on, I’ll remember this night forever.
