This was my third sit of the season in our new box blind my husband worked so hard to build. The fresh snow made the small 6 point (also the first deer I’ve seen all season) easy to see, and I decided to pass on it. Moments later, this guy walked right in front of us. After a few whispers of encouragement from my husband, I took the shot.
Not bad for my first deer!
