I completed hunter safety this summer and this was my first opening day of deer season I was sitting by myself. I got in my stand before light and at 8:04am he came in at 25 yards. He was hitting a scrape in the brush and all I could see were antlers. I pulled my gun up and realized I still had my scope caps on! I flipped them up and he seen me. I squeezed the trigger quickly. He fell right to the ground, got up and ran off. He was dead within 50 yards of the shot. I am so excited this is the biggest buck I have ever gotten and cant wait to have him mounted!
