It was a slow morning with a few shots going off not far, then at 10am this big guy came walking in alone. I whistled to get him to stop and got a double lung at about 50 yards with the 20ga. After 18 years of hunting public land I finally got my first mature buck. On opening morning made it even better. Memories forever after tracking and finding him with my dad.
