Saw him chase a doe off in the morning going the wrong direction. Spotted him coming back in the evening but had a lot of ground to cover with only 25 minutes of light left in the day. He crossed into the field at 5:30 and I let one fly out of my .50 cal muzzleloader at 90 yards. Tracked him for ~150 yards with not a lot of blood due to no exit hole but found him piled up in a thicket. Biggest deer I’ve ever taken and it isn’t close!
