Sitting in a ground blind and my buddy texted me saying there was 2 doe heading my way. I watched the does head over to the neighbors property. I looked back to my right and notice I had deer next to me about 30 yards. I pulled up my binoculars and seen thay he was a buck. I txt my buddy and told him I had a buck next to me. He said if you want him, take him. I waited 15min and heard him grunt. I was like why are u grunting. Look further to my right and there was a doe in the tickets. So at that time I decided I was going to shoot him. Shot him at 7:25am at 20 yards with my new 450. He ran 20 yards to the edge of the corn field and that’s where he layed. First opening day deer. Also my first opening day buck.
