This weekend has been very hit or miss and slow and hot and cold and snowy and windy but I chose my plot spot with a risky wind and it started off slow and around 5 some does started coming out and got down wind and about 10 minutes later they started to stomp and was about to shoot her until I heard something walking through the river I looked over my shoulder and seen my top shooter was walking into my plot and somehow I got the gun up undetected and he got to the open and I let it rip and he only went 15 yards and piled up. I couldn’t be more thankful to lay my hands on this buck after watching this buck for a couple years it’s just a bitter sweet moment
