Was a crazy hunt, this was my first 9 point monster. Back to a tree, had to turn and shoot with one arm. I have a red dot reticle on my crossbow, if it was a scope I wouldn’t have been able to get it off, as I couldn’t get the stock on my shoulder with such a hard 180 degree turn to my right as a right handed shooter. He was only 20 yards away, couldn’t move or position to shoot whatsoever. Was using my Raven R18 with vertical limbs, hugged my forearm against the tree trunk and shot it one handed, double lung, while he was quartering away, ran about 40 yards before dropping.
