Made my way out this morning and sat in my blind, sticking to my normal spot the first week as I always do and about 50 yards away he came walking up. I lined it up and went to shoot and nothing….. pulled the hammer back again, squeezed the trigger and nothing again. I managed to pull the gun into the blind get the bullet out and reach for the one extra that I keep handy, reloaded and managed to get a good lung shot. Made for a great first week out!
