Got out to my stand at 6:30, saw nothing until 9:40 when a spike showed up and bedded down right in front of me for an hour. All of sudden I seen the spike lift his head up and look left and saw this toad coming straight in towards me. Shot him with my 450 at 30 yards and he still ran about 60 yards after blowing the top of his heart off in the process. Blessed morning to harvest such a stud of a buck.
