Saw him last night and decided to pass on the shot as he was too far away, didn’t want to mess up the shot and take the chance of him getting injured or not coming back in. I thought I had seen a doe or spike coming in before I took a closer look and my gosh, it was 7:30 when I took the shot he ran about 100 yards, shot top of the heart and lungs and stuffed himself up under a tree.
