I was hunting with my grandson. We were sitting in a pop up hunting tent blind. On the edge of a swamp watching so thick stuff in front of us. I caught a glimpse of movement in the thick stuff. I looked ahead of the deer and seen a small opening it was headed for. I put my gun facing that opening and as soon as he stepped into it I seen horns so I put the cross hairs on him and shot. He took off running to come out of the thick stuff. He came out but went right behind a clump of trees and we never seen him come out. So after a half hour of waiting we walked over there and I had no idea just how big it was when I pulled the trigger. Public land buck.
