Son’s first deer ever after he spent a few years trying to take his first deer. He was sitting in the honey hole spot that produces year after year. Was a foggy morning and little after 9:00 I was not seeing anything myself so told him I was on my way to get him. Halfway there I get text have one comedown the edge of the corn so I stopped and not very long after that hear the shot and seen the deer take off. Walked up to him and he was shaking like crazy. He was tracking the blood and I took a walk down the fence line and walked up to him laying there. I then yelled back to him and he came running. Best moment we have shared so far. Glad to be there with him on his first deer.
