My first opening day hunting by myself. The morning didn’t go as planned, went back out after lunch and I saw a total of 5 bucks. A spike, a 5 point, a 6 but legally a 4 point, and a beautiful 8 point that i couldn’t get a clear shot at. Then after deciding i would head in early, I looked up and saw this 9 point. I saw his tines in my scope got excited and as soon as he turned to the side, I took my shot. He ran about 100 yards in a circle and fell 15 yards from where I shot him. I am thankful for this experience and my first deer!
