Sunday morning is one that I will never forget. Spending time in the Turkey woods with my dad has always been one of my favorite activities, but his year we were able to take my oldest daughter who is 8yo on her first weekend chasing turkeys. Papa’s scouting paid off when this record book gobbler came strutting in. Lillian’s turkey qualifies as “exceptional” for both spur length and weight, and also has a 10″ beard. She is on happy hunter but has an even happier dad and Papa!
