Had a tough day at work and needed to sit out in nature to calm my mind. Got out and set up my decoys and hunkered down into a spot I have never sat before. Threw in a diaphragm and let out some soft clucks and yelps and had a pissed off hen come in and scream her head off. After about 10 minutes she walked off. Once she was clear, I let out a couple more soft clucks and yelps and heard a gobble close. Saw the beady red head about 150 yards in the woods. Let out a few more yelps and he came running in on a mission. Ran right up the the jake decoy and strutted up. Proceeded to beat the decoy up like it owed him money. When he was done putting on a show I dropped the hammer and that was a wrap. One off the coolest things I have seen while hunting by far!
