Allycia (16) was out for her last youth hunt with her Aunt. We only sat for a short while before we started to see some deer activity. We had a nice buck walk out about 50 yards in front of us and Allycia was getting set up trying to find it in her scope and just as she was getting set he walked back into the woods and we lost sight of him. After feeling a little discouraged, we continued to sit because it was still so early. A little while later we started to see a lot more deer activity, Allycia was watching one direction and aunt Sara was watching the other, after passing a few more smaller bucks and some doe, Allycia looks up and sees this guy standing broadside about 45-50 yards away. She quickly gets her sights on him and pulls the trigger before aunt Sara was even ready, we watched him run off about 20-30 yards until we lost sight of him. A little while later we followed the blood trail and walked up on a dead deer, way bigger than she expected him to be. Patience paid off for her last night and we are so proud of her on her last youth harvest!
