Savannah had been watching this Buck all of August, but on September 2nd he disappeared. No sightings no pictures nothing… that is until September 10th. He showed back up about 8pm walking the edge of the bean field, this time all the velvet was gone and he was Hard horned. He has shown up in this spot historically in the evening but we didn’t want to mess up his pattern. So Saturday afternoon we moved the blind into some tall weeds and brush and figured maybe we could get a drop on him if he showed back up. Sure enough he walked out right on time and did it perfectly for us! She was able to lay the hammer down on a perfect angle! He disappeared into the fence row, and we waited some time to go for the retrieval. We found him in the middle of the fence row, not even 10 yards from the impact site!
