My wife told me this would be the only weekend I could bow hunt as our son is due 10/05/2026. I had two doe come in around roughly 50 yards away. One doe wandered all the way to within 5 yards of me. She turned away and at 10 yards she stopped and looked East. Two big bucks came strutting in, an 8 pt and a 9 pt. After a minute or two I decided on the 9 pt as he looked bigger. Took my shot and he ran roughly 50 yards up the hill where I found him amongst the thick brush. Beautiful lung shot and a buck of a lifetime.
