Been hunting hard for years. I had only ever shot does, had many opportunities at smaller bucks throughout the years but was waiting for the day to kill a mature buck and it finally happened today at 6pm he came out working multiple different scrapes. Watched him come in from about 70 yards away through the woods rubbing multiple different trees the whole way to me he got to about 40 yards and started cutting through the thickets and was able to pull a shot off at 25 yards. Ran about 15-20 yards where he finally dropped.
