My dad and I had seen this buck on our cameras all year so far, but every time we went out he didn’t want to make an appearance. Well the stars all aligned right and he decided to walk out by my dad first around 6:30pm and he couldn’t get a shot on him, so I tried calling him into my area and he got a smell of some does he wanted more than coming to check out my calls. Fast forward to 6:50 I heard some noise coming from the west of me and sure enough here come two does on a little trot running away from something, I pulled my bow up and got ready for something to come in. Out of some brushes comes this beautiful guy and he was on a mission, I grunted once hard to stop him in his tracks, placed the shot and he only ran about 30 yards and dropped! Couldn’t be happier with him and my hunt!
