This buck daylighted the morning of the 29th, so I knew he was in the area. After waiting out a nasty storm, I climbed back into the stand around 5:15 PM.
About 30 minutes later, three does came out of the bedding area. Shortly after, I heard leaves crunching behind me. When I turned around, all I could see was the drop-tine club!
He walked past at just 15 yards, chasing the does, and made it only about 50 yards before it was over.
