Posting this one on behalf of my grandma, as she doesn’t know how to post on Michigan Buck Pole, and this buck deserves to be shared!
Monday, she harvested a massive 11-point buck. It turned into quite the tracking job. After the shot, she watched him run off with the arrow still sticking out. We struggled to find much blood at first and were starting to get discouraged, but eventually picked up a blood trail. We tracked him down into a bottom near some water, where we found him laying. We decided to back out and return early the next morning. When we got back, he was right where we had seen him the night before.
The amount of time, patience, and dedication she has put into hunting over the years is something to admire. There’s nothing better than seeing all those years of hard work and passion pay off with a buck like this. She sure earned this one. Congratulations, Grandma!
