Went out to just get a sit in michigan in for the first time this year, was looking to take a doe to fill the freezer before my ohio rutcation. Ended up seeing this guy wrap around me. I knew he was big for a michigan deer but he vanished. Later on he came back and walked 12 yards from the stand. Unfortunately I didnt see how quartering too he was to me. I tucked it close to the crease as possible thank god. I hit one lung, live and gut Unfortunately. He ran about 50 yards after his mule kick and stood there and then bedded. I sat in my stand quiet for 2:30 hours. The deer expired and is now my best archery buck for michigan. Main frame 9pt with a inch and a half kicker of the base.
